Naturally Occurring Rebellion!

One taken from a duo of digital paintings influenced by themes of rebellion and unapologetic views.

The flower acts as a symbol of nature, something organic that occurs in numerous near copies, like the human race.

My vision was to fashion this flower with elements of human self mutilation such as tattoos and piercings.

These illustrate that rebellion in my eyes, is something that comes naturally and in itself has beauty in its contrast to the norm.

1 decided on the arch to frame the main image in a regal and proud light. The arch having connotations with elevation of the spirit, to rise toward a feeling of ethereality.
